Thai Yoga Bodywork Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork combines elements of Yoga, acupressure, stretching, reflexology, prayer and meditation. This therapy can benefit anyone - young or old, active or inactive, healthy or ailing. Often described as assisted Hatha Yoga, this healing therapy will leave you feeling refreshed, rested and with a renewed sense of well-being. A typical Thai Yoga session can last from one to two full hours. Thai Yoga Bodywork is performed on a floor mat designed specifically for Thai massage. Receivers wear loose comfortable clothing and socks on their feet. The treatment incorporates Tai Chi moves, rhythmic rocking motions, gentle stretching and deep meditative breathing. The practitioner uses hands, arms, feet and legs to guide the recipient into various yoga postures, while remaining focused on their own body center. This combination of movements and focused awareness, creates a slow flowing "dance" around the recipient's body. Some of the therapeutic effects of Thai Yoga therapy...
